UNESCO International Day of the World’s Indigenous

I am deeply honored and humbled to be invited as a Keynote Speaker at the upcoming UNESCO International Day of the World’s Indigenous Peoples Conference and Awards 2026.

This landmark event, hosted by Audible Voice Solutions in collaboration with the United Nations Ambassadors of SDGs Network, aims to elevate and celebrate the invaluable contributions of indigenous communities worldwide.

The theme for this year’s conference is incredibly poignant:”Audible Voices of Indigenous Peoples in Governance, Environment, and Technology.”

Indigenous knowledge systems are not just historical curiosities; they are vital, living blueprints for sustainability, community resilience, and ecological balance. As we face global challenges in climate change, biodiversity loss, and ethical technological development, it is more critical than ever that these voices are not just “heard,” but are central to the conversation. They hold the “Audible Voices” we must listen to.

I am particularly excited to join my esteemed co-speakers:

Amb. Prof. Mehari Fisseha
Amb. Ada Gartenmann
Amb. Vinod Tailor
Amb. Prof. Joseph Legend
Amb. Farah Delance Linot

I look forward to sharing my perspectives as the Chancellor of Langbustech University and UNSDGN Country Director for India, and more importantly, to learning from the other global leaders assembled.

Join us on Monday, August 10th, 2026, either in Abuja, Nigeria, or online via Zoom, to amplify these essential voices.
