Prof. Ripu Ranjan Sinha is a globally acclaimed Indian academician, entrepreneur, and policymaker whose work unites information and communication technology (ICT), innovation, and sustainable development to drive peace and progress across Asia and Africa. Born on July 1, 1979, in Munger, Bihar — “the Land of Gautam Buddha” — Prof. Sinha completed his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Computer Science from St. Xavier’s College of Computer Studies, Patna. He earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Computer Science with a specialization in agent-mediated technologies and strategic knowledge management in 2013, guided by advanced QIP training at IIT Kanpur and IIT Mumbai.

As the initiator and main celebrant of the Red Green Movement 2030, Prof. Sinha has articulated a dual-pillar framework— “Red” (Science, Technology, Innovation) and “Green” (Sustainable Development, Peace)—to guide youth empowerment and national transformation towards India@2030 goals and global peacebuilding. This movement underpins flagship initiatives such as the South Sudan Green and Industrial Revolution 2030 in collaboration with South Sudan’s leadership.
